Bejeweled by a spectacular coastline, Southern India is a vivid kaleidoscope of landscapes, magnificent historical sites, Temples, Palaces, royal cities and quaint hamlets, excellent golden beaches, misty mountain retreats, backwaters (canals), houseboats, colourful people, rich cultures and festivals.
