Gulet (pronounced ‘Goo-lay’) Charter cruising along the ‘Turquoise coast’ of the Mediterranean Sea in Turkey is a stunning way to explore the beautiful little gulfs and inlets, and the picturesque port towns which dot the Turkish coastline and nearby Greek Islands such as Rhodes, Symi, or Kos, on traditional Turkish wooden crewed boats, some of which have been beautifully restored.
You can view a selection of our most popular gulets here.
Itineraries work on a Saturday to Saturday basis, and some popular sample itineraries are as follows:
Bodrum – Bodrum via the Gulf of Hisaronu
Marmaris – Marmaris via the Turkish Coast including the beautiful towns of Fethiye, Oludeniz, and Gocek
Marmaris – Marmaris via the Greek island of Symi and the Gulf of Hisaronu
Fethiye – Fethiye via the Turkish Coast via the towns of Kalkan, Kas, and Kekova
Marmaris – Bodrum via Symi & Kos.
How it works:
Send us your proposed dates, how many people will be travelling, a preferred itinerary if you have one, and what your ideal standard and budget is. The gulets range from basic, traditional, clean and comfortable, to 5-star luxury, and are designed for anywhere from 2 to 22 passengers. We will get back to you with a list of available boats with prices and pictures for each.
Prices include crew of 2, 3, 5, or 6 (depending on the size and quality of the yacht) always with a captain and chef. Cruise formalities, Turkish harbour dues, bedsheets and blankets, towels, fuel, tender and outboard engine, and recreational material are also included.
Drinks can be purchased from the boat bar (sold at reasonable rates) or passengers can fill out a shopping list and the crew will purchase the drinks (payable on embarkation). Food on board can also be pre ordered. Dining can take place on board the gulet, or your crew can recommend dining options on shore if you prefer.
The selected gulets on offer are regularly checked and maintained to ensure they meet our high standards, have all proper licences and insurance, safety equipment and coast guard requirements, and offer good value for money and an experienced crew.
Charter departures are Saturday – Saturday between May and October.
Low season rates apply for May and October, Shoulder season is June & September, and High Season is July & August.
Rates depend on the seasonality, size and standard of each boat, and number of crew required.
Prices start from 4200EUR for a 6 berth gulet in low season, and can range up to 70,000EUR plus for one of the ultra luxurious gulets in high season. Average rates in High season are between 15,000EUR and 20,000EUR per week for a gulet of up to 8 berths, but again this can vary depending on standard and availability.
