Located on a 90-acre private concession overlooking the core forest zone of Kanha National Park, Banjaar Tola encompasses two intimate tented camps of nine suites each. Named after the gypsy tribes who camped by the Banjaar River, the luxurious ensuite tents are lightweight and eco-friendly structures designed with rustic local supplies, leaving a gentle and charming footprint on the sensitive riverine environment. Built in a chic, glamorous camping style, each tented suite features glass doors which lead out onto a floating verandah, and overlook a tranquil river. Each camp offers its own romantic suites with intimate private decks overlooking the meandering river, comfortable guest areas with a large open-air dining space and an interpretive library. Guests at camps can enjoy a dip in the unobtrusively located swimming pool, savour regional delicacies at the interactive kitchen or collect interesting souvenirs from the Safari shop. Learn about the rich biodiversity, especially the barasinghas which are unique to Kanha. Experience the thrill of spotting tigers, great gaurs or the star birds of Kanha. Adventurous souls can even opt for an elephant-back safari! The distinctive Taj hospitality make this a fascinating Jungle Book adventure.
