Samode Haveli was built over 175 years ago as the Samode Royal family’s suburban manor house, and was masterfully restored and converted into a unique heritage property in 1988. With its understated luxury, antique furniture and original work-of-art, the hotel is a celebration of traditional values and gracious living. This small, charming, intimate hotel with its 22 rooms, features a spectacular painted dining room, an airy verandah and an elephant ramp at the entrance, which was specially constructed in the 1940’s for the marriage ceremony of the late Rawal Sahib’s aunt. Amidst the bustle of one of India’s most historical cities, Samode Haveli is a peaceful respite. It stands in the heart of the sprawling walled city of Jaipur, suffused with an atmosphere of quiet beauty. Its central location makes it a convenient place to stay, moments away from virtually all of Jaipur’s attractions, including historical and cultural monuments and sites of interest. As an urban oasis in the historic walled city of Jaipur, Samode Haveli is a traditional Indian mansion set in a verdant garden with apartments arranged around a series of intimate courtyards.
