India’s first luxury jungle resort has the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve as its neighbour. Like the hunting parties of old, you stay in tents – but tents with a sumptuous difference. There are 25 of them all air conditioned with a private walled-garden and sun deck. They are luxuriously appointed with marble bathrooms that include free-standing bathtubs, separate shower stalls and double vanity counters. The tents are placed discreetly within the 20-acre jungle estate so that you can fully appreciate the natural peace and beauty of the location.  From the observation tower, guests can admire panoramic views of the bordering jungle, spot wildlife at the nearby watering hold or sip champagne at sundown. You can learn more from lectures on the regional flora and fauna. For a thrilling experience, take one of the resort’s organised trips into the reserve where there are frequent tiger sightings.

Two restaurants, one air-conditioned and the other outdoors, serve international and Indian cuisine. A swimming-pool and luxury spa complete the indulgence.  This luxury spa offers a wide range of Ayurveda inspired and signature Oberoi treatments.  Also offered are private and small group yoga sessions within the grounds.  All guests complimentary access to high speed Internet for up to four devices.   Located in a luxury, air conditioned tent, our fitness suite is equipped with a range of cardiovascular and weight lifting machines. We also have a range of free weights.  The suite is fitted with televisions at either end of the room and a music system for guests’ convenience.

The Oberoi Vanyavilas remains closed between 1st July to 30th September, due to the monsoon season.
